Prayer to Obtain a Favor

Through the Intercession of the Servant of God

Father Vincent R. Capodanno, MM

May God who has offered healing and strength through the hands of His only Son, Our Lord, and through Christ's many servants grant me the favor of His servant. Father Vincent Capodanno, priest, missionary, and chaplain, who always sought to heal and comfort the wounded and dying on the field of battle. May I be granted this request on my own field of battle I pray in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Remembering September 11, 2001

Come, Holy Spirit of Love and Peace,
we long for your healing touch.

On September 11, 2001,
   our country was scarred
   by hatred and revenge ...
we long for your healing touch.

Hearts were broken and lives were lost,
and fear and anger prevailed ...
we long for your healing touch.

Awaken in us, Holy Spirit,
a deep and respectful remembrance ...
that you are a God of love, not hatred,
that you are a God of forgiveness, not revenge,
that you are a God of peace, not war.

Remembering these things, we ask you to
bless our country and all those defending
its ideals of freedom and liberty
   and bring them safely home.

May your gifts of peace, love, and forgiveness
transform our hatred, anger, and fear,
so that peace on earth will be possible once again.

Come Holy Spirit of Love and Peace,
we long for your healing touch.

 Prayer For Vocations

Heavenly Father, bless your Church

with an abundance of holy and

zealous priests, deacons, brothers,

and sisters. Give those you have

called to the married state and those

you have chosen to live as single

persons in the world, the special

graces that their lives require. Form

us all in the likeness of your Son

so that in Him, with Him and through

Him we may love you more deeply

and serve you more faithfully, always

and everywhere. With Mary we ask

this through Christ Our Lord.

                               Amen.

Mary, Queen Of The Knights

Rev. Robert F. Hopkins

Our Lady, Queen of the Knights, bless all the activities of our order. Keep us true to the pledge to extend the Kingship of thy Devine Son on earth. Through thine intercession, win for us the grace ever to exemplify in our public and private lives, the virtues which should characterize those specially dedicated to the service of the heavenly court. Make us always aware that as your Knight we are constantly observed, our faith judged and our order appreciated. Accept, O Mary, this renewed pledge of fealty and devotion of thy servants, the Knights of Columbus.

                                                                                                              Amen.

Apostles Creed
I believe in God the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit; the Holy Catholic Church; the Communion of Saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and life everlasting. Amen.

Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary. Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell and lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy.

Hail Holy Queen
Hail Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to you do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears! Turn then, most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us; and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!

V: Pray for us, Holy Mother of God.
R: That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray. O God, whose only-begotten Son, by his Life, Death and Resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech you, that we who meditate on these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the blessed Virgin Mary, may both imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
